How to Signup for the Farm Membership Program?

Create an Account at the tie-dye menu, top right. Next, select a Farm Membership Option from the blue menu on the left, add the subscription to your shopping cart and checkout.  Credit is applied to your account which you'll draw from during the grow season. Your membership input helps fund seasonal start-up costs, and the program is CUSTOMIZABLE. Depending on which membership plan you select, you receive bonus credits, best quality harvests, a free farm tour and surprise membership perks throughout the season!  If you eat a lot of vegetables or feed a family, Family Plan is a good option.  Gold level is for those who are more likely to order weekly, while Silver level may work for bi-weekly orders. If you're new to the farm membership model, shop a la carte until you're ready to purchase a membership. Contact the farm manager with questions. By purchasing a membership, you agree and understand that non-refundable credits must be used by the end of the grow season, which is announced via newsletter and website and typically goes from mid-November through mid-May.

How does the CUSTOMIZABLE Program work?

Membership funds go directly into farm operations as seed money at the beginning of the season. Once purchased, your member account is credited and you'll draw from it. Every week of the harvest season, we send a farm newsletter, Thursday at 615pm, with updates and promos.  Hit the website from Friday 3am to Sunday 1155pm to shop. Be sure to sign in, select a pickup location, member account balance and a form of payment which is backup only, in case of account credit overdraw.  CUSTOMIZABLE means you select what you want, when you want. 

Shopping the site "a la carte" is an option too. You can also select the Famous Farmer's Choice box which is a surprise box picked by the grower. Deliveries and pickups happen every Wednesday at your location of choice, with additional options for Saturday and Sunday.  NOTICE: Credits are non-refundable and should be used by the end of the season.

Q: What is the Farm Membership Program (previously called CSA)?
A: It's a partnership between farm and community. You buy a membership level and your account is credited. Membership costs are then used as seed money to start the season. In return, you draw from your account and the farm harvests “the cream of the crop” for members. It creates a direct investment connection between farmers, families and foodies.
Q: When is the Harvest Season?
A: The '24-'25 Harvest Season target is mid-November through mid-May.
Q: What is the cost to join?
A:  Family membership=$800 (plus $80 credit bonus!)
Gold membership=$600
Silver membership=$400
Produce can also be purchased without a membership.
Q: When and where do I pick up my box?
A: Wednesday, Saturday or Sunday at your pickup location selection, options above. 
Q: What if I need to change my pickup location?
A: Pickup location selection is a variable option. If a change arises post-order/pre-delivery, notify the farm manager: blumenberryfarmmanager@protonmail.com
Q: What if I would rather have a pre-selected veggie box?
A:  Famous Farmer's Choice box. You have chosen wisely.
Q: When is the window for placing orders?
A:  Friday morning to midnight Sunday. We send a weekly newsletter Thursdays at 615pm.
Q: What if I run out of account credit before the season ends?
A:  You can purchase items a la carte or reload credits. 
Q: Are there limits to how many of a single item I can get?
A: Yes, we may set limits on limited-quantity items. 
Q: Can I shop even if I am not a Farm Member?
A: Yes, purchase produce a la carte.
Q: What happens if I miss ordering for a week?
A: No problem.  Credit remains in your account, order when you need it.
NOTICE: Farm Membership credit is non-refundable and should be used entirely by the end of the season, which typically goes until mid-May.  Tropical fruit may be available for residual credit use during the summer.
